Abstract:
Asymmetric information is an inherent characteristic of the global art market, and Vietnam's art scene is no exception. Among the manifold challenges faced by Vietnam's art market, the absence of essential intermediaries and infrastructure emerges as a prominent failure. These inefficiencies create barriers to entry for artists and collectors in Vietnam, resulting in hindered growth within the sector. This research aims to investigate how informational asymmetry impacts the Vietnamese art market and proposes policy choices for enhancing market accessibility.
